Bae's Progress Bar GeneratorThis is just php code that allows you to quickly and easily generate CSS bars showing your progress on a project. There is one bar for the progress you made today, and one for total progress. Any quantifiable goal can be measured, such as words or pages written per day. This was originally written for NaNoWriMo but I've found many uses for it. This script gives you code that can be inserted into any HTML page, on a blog or livejournal, or whatever. note - for NaNoWriMo, you need 1667 words a day to make 50,000 in a month so my goal is 2000 a day to give myself some padding. This script should work in any graphical browser, I've tested it in IE, Opera and Firefox, and it still works pretty well in Lynx or Links. the code is here - just save the code as a php file you can test or use it here |
